Dear colleagues and participants,
We are delighted to invite you to the upcoming research conference hosted by the Research Chair INFRA-S, scheduled for December 7th from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM. This conference will be conducted in english and accessible both virtually and in person.
Conference Title:
The Interplay between Project Governance and Sustainability
Speaker:
Sara Rankohi, Eng., Ph.D.
Conference Description:
With the introduction of collaborative and innovative delivery methods in the construction industry, the research on project governance is expanding. Meanwhile, the global energy crisis is shifting scholars’ attention towards enhancing sustainability and decarbonization in the construction sector.
Yet, the prevalence of contextual focuses and business perspectives may encumber the thorough understanding of the interplay between project governance and sustainability practices. The objective of this study is to evaluate the state-of-the-art of research into the links between project governance and sustainability with a view to:
1- Identifying the topic set studied and contributing a criterion for classifying the literature.
2- Discussing the theoretical and practical evidence to orient future research.
In this presentation, the results of a comprehensive review of the project governance literature and its contributions to the three key dimensions of sustainability – environmental, economic, and social dimensions will be discussed.
We encourage you to participate in this captivating conference, promising new perspectives and enriching discussions. Please note that the event will be accessible virtually and in person.
